Established in East Kent over 50 years ago, Instro is an established high tech manufacturer with a heritage of precision engineering and rugged design which is sought after by defence and security clients worldwide. We pride ourselves in manufacturing designing, producing and testing a wide range of products at our site in Discovery Park, Sandwich. Now with a record order book, significant business growth and strong sales growth expected in the next 3 to 5 years, we are expanding the team and looking to attract talented individuals across core disciplines including: Mechanical design, Electronics, Control Systems, Embedded Software, Manufacturing and Systems engineering. Our team of just over 90 employees work across engineering design, component manufacture, product assembly and final test to ensure we have all critical skills and processes in house. Our approach has flexibility with manufacturing capacity but also enables us to be responsive to urgent requirements.
