Brescia is noted for its ability to develop its students as leaders and has many programs and initiatives that nurture leadership. The Ursuline Sisters, who first founded Brescia in 1919, believed that real change could only be effected from working within the world. That strong base of community development and involvement permeates the curriculum and the spirit of Brescia today.
