Nordic Strings Academy celebrates classical and contemporary strings music. We help young talented musicians to not only perform better, but to live and love the music they play. Founded by solo violinist Kehan Zhang and Astrid Maan Thomsen with Chairman Lars Kolind, we connect Chinese musicians and music lovers with Nordic music culture. Nordic Strings Academy offers masterclasses based on the most advanced teaching concepts and pedagogical techniques used in Europe. They include one-to-one lessons, lectures, chamber music lessons and baroque performance classes. The Academy also hosts Music Festivals and concert tours as a platform for world music performances and cultural exchanges.
