Being physically active with a (big) perspiration problem, Abs found himself doing laundry every. single. day. And after years of looking after the cleaning category for FMCG companies, it pained him to know that the detergents he was using were overpriced, pumped full of water, and still not effective in cleaning his stinky, sweaty gym gear. After a good hard look at the amount of plastic waste he was producing as an individual, and thinking about that on the scale of millions of households in Australia and billions in the world, the idea for Pinkish Pods was born: A zero waste, climate-positive laundry product that is good for your clothes, great for the planet, and based on something more important than the bottom line.
