Rocking Ur Teens is a community interest company developed to motivate and empower early teens by creating a platform to provide them with aspiration and inspiration in relation to future goals and career path. Our mission is to support young people to create personal and social change. To understand their strength in numbers and how collective energy will impact their futures and generations to come. This is done in an informative and entertaining way. We formed in response to research which highlights lack of self-esteem, inspiration and aspiration as an epidemic among young people, and we aim to counteract this. Rocking Ur Teens is open to both girls and boys. However, in Year 1 we have specifically targeted 13 – 14 year old girls in Years 8 and 9 of school. We have a five-year focus for teen conferences in the UK, Europe and the rest of the world Do donate, £50 provides a free place which can change the direction of a girls life.
