The Caples Awards was founded by Andi Emerson in 1978. In 2018, the organisation transferred from New York to London. The awards are managed by Patrick and Dorte Collister. Patrick is the former ECD of Ogilvy & Mather London and Head of Design for Google ZOO (Northern Europe). Duncan Gray, former creative leader for Proximity Worldwide, is a trustee and consultant. The Caples Awards are run by creative people for creative people - to recognise and reward work that works.
