The Groundswell Church came together as a new church in fall of 2018 after a number of families sought God for what was next in their spiritual journey and felt the Spirit move them to form a new church in Burlington. As Cyril preached in the beginning on discerning what God was saying to us as individuals and the contemporary church, it became clear something unique was rising in our midst. The Spirit was putting in our hearts a vision for a Groundswell of People: Called of God, Fixed on Jesus, Inspired By the Spirit, Grounded in Scripture, and Formed through Community. We are excited to see this story unfold as God continues to draw together this church as we serve our neighbours in the Halton and Hamilton regions.
