Oasis Aquila Housing is a Christian response to homelessness and disadvantage providing housing, support and other specialised services. The support we provide aims to develop life skills that will enable the young people we house to live successful independent lives. We are a national charity, operating projects in Gateshead and London, with our head office in central Gateshead. Our projects include: • Four 24 hour supported accommodation projects, three of which are exclusively for women • Resource Centre supporting 900 people per year to access housing • Emergency bed spaces for street homeless • Private Sector Bond Scheme to enable vulnerable people to access accommodation in the Private Rented Sector • Social Lettings Agency offering housing at affordable rents • Life and Employability Skills Workshops and 1:1 support • Youth Coaches to ‘NEET’ young people • Early intervention work for at risk families, including tackling Domestic Abuse and bespoke support for individuals with multiple and complex needs.
