Founded in 2016, The Speakeasy Project is a unique workshop space unlike any other in the writing world. The Speakeasy Project is an open and accessible creative space for students of all ages and backgrounds. Affiliate of The Blueshift Journal, The Speakeasy Project hosts numerous workshops with acclaimed poets and writers from around the world, as well as offering services to our clients such as 1-on-1 feedback sessions, an emerging writers' community and more. With an emphasis on daily growth and process, The Speakeasy Project aims to bring artistic spaces directly to the student at home. By partnering with schools and organizations across the country, The Speakeasy Project connects writers from around the world and fosters a community within which writers can grow, learn and create.
