Our Mission To be the premier vocational education system in the country, running on not-for-profit basis. Our Objective To provide affordable vocational education to youth of low income group, helping them earn a better living and respect. Description MITI is a vocational training organization for boys and girls offering a wide variety of technical, IT, multimedia and home economic course/disciplines. It has been setup under the auspices of WMO – World Memon Organization which is an international NGO having 7 Chapters throughout the world. The Pakistan Chapter of WMO, the WMO-PC, has launched many programs to organize the community and to bring relief to suppressed and downtrodden people. WMO-PC conceived this project, MITI, as a non-profit organization for developing human resource of less- privileged class, coming from any group, community or religion. The fundamental purpose of this institute is to serve humanity and promoting the environment of skills learning in Pakistan. This project was launched in collaboration with CDGK which has provided the Korangi Civic Center III building free-of-cost. WMO-PC has provided state-of-the-art facilities at MITI with the entire funding from WMO’s international donors. MITI opened its doors for students from June 2009 with 7 Trades for men. Today, courses are offered in 27 Trades for men and 19 for women.
