HKRT, Inc. is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit dog rescue and training business. Founded in February 2018 after noticing an under served group of dogs in our community, our mission is focused on serving overlooked and last chance dogs. HKRT is “Doing what's right, not what’s easy” by combining rescue, training, and community outreach programs to save as many dogs as we can. Unlike other rescues HKRT is not focused on how many dogs they can get adopted but the quality of life for the dogs that come into the rescue. After the dogs go through rehabilitation a forever home is carefully selected. They know their dogs are a little tougher to love and handle than an average dog but they also know that it's not impossible to find them a happily ever after of their own.
