Common Practice is an office for architecture and design, established in 2017. We are committed to make spaces and buildings that contribute to the sustainable city and enrich the lives of the individuals and communities they serve. We are curious and open-minded, searching inspiration in both the simplicity of the everyday and the intelligence of long standing traditions. Many answers to challenges of the future can be found in the past. We look carefully at the history and collective experience of a place before making a proposal for the new. We believe that a good and sustainable built environment emerges as a result of collective effort and enjoy working on assignments as part of a broader team, combining knowledge, aspirations and devotion. We appreciate that architecture can be unpredictable and surprising, as rational and poetic layers come together.
