Seachange Collective
www.seachangecollective.orgWe are a women-owned collective that builds the capacity of people who do social justice work, through trainings, strategy development, and coaching. We aim to close the gap between values and practice and build a community where individuals and organizations of all sizes can get the support they need to strengthen their advocacy and organizing. We focus on the needs and leadership of those most affected by intersecting forms of oppression and injustice. We work with non-profit organizations, community groups, schools, public service organizations, and individual activists. We are guided by our core values in all the things we do: - Centered in the leadership, needs, and vision of those most affected by oppression and injustice. - Intersectional in our understanding of identities and structures of oppression, and development of solutions. - Radically working for alternatives to our status quo systems, structures, communities, and daily ways of being. - Continually reflective of ourselves and our work, since change is not a one-time project. - Accountable to our communities, our partners, and to a holistic understanding of social justice, in all aspects of our work. - Sustainable and caring in every element of our work, from the supplies we use and the community cultures we foster, to the leadership we develop and the program practices we grow.
