Whether you desire to learn about Jewish history and culture, or to connect with them by taking our rewarding Hebrew language program, LAHHS is the place to connect with your heritage. Established in 1949 as a Jewish community school at Menorah Center in Boyle Heights, LAHHS currently serves as the supplementary Hebrew school of choice for nearly 150 students. During the week, our students attend one of seven weekday branch locations including Valencia, the South Bay, Thousand Oaks, West Los Angeles, and the San Fernando Valley. On Sundays, all students join together for study at the Emek Hebrew Academy in Sherman Oaks.
