About consultants, quite often I used to say: "If it has to be done right, I'd better do it myself." This phrase was based on experience. It also applied to speed and costs. Of course there are many consultants out there who are really good at what they do. But guess what, a consultant is just a human being. The kind of proposal and solution and the quality and overall price tag really just depends on who you get. So what happened? After many years of experience as a Baan ERP application manager, I wanted to further professionalize my skills - as a consultant. And after another 5 years and another experience later, when my German wife and I moved from the Netherlands to Germany it was the perfect time to cherish this long time wish to "do it myself", do it different and better. I still stick to this one phrase - and take that as a lead for setting high quality demands and solutions that really add value. Because I don't want you to repeat my own words. What I do. With over 20 years of experience in process optimization within the ERP system, barcode scanning solutions, EDI implementation and ERP related support, this has become my expertise. Mainly on Baan / Infor ERP systems, but also with MS Dynamics NAV and Oracle. When necessary, I work closely together with partners.
