East Scarborough Storefront (The Storefront) uses the power of collaboration to support people and build community. The Storefront plays a unique role in connecting people and leveraging collective power to solve complex community-based issues. The organization’s community work includes facilitating relationships and managing a service delivery hub. More than 35 partner agencies bring their expertise from across the city to The Storefront to deliver much-needed services to residents. As a welcoming gathering space, residents use the services more than 50, 000 times a year. The Storefront is recognized as a leader in community transformation, working together with the community to play a key role as a catalyst, facilitator and coordinator of community development initiatives.
