The Recruitment Junction is the only recruitment agency in the north-east to focus exclusively on placing people with convictions into paid work. We are a not-for-profit enterprise, with a social heart and on a commercial mission. We see people with convictions rediscover a sense of purpose through work, becoming role models who drive positive generational impact across their families and their wider communities, as well as substantially reducing reoffending. The Recruitment Junction has a specialist understanding of what support an ex-offender needs, both in order to access the jobs market and also to sustain employment in the early months. Equally, we recognise the assistance an employer needs to comfortably navigate the process of recruiting people with past convictions, giving the best chance of retaining and benefitting from employees with non-traditional backgrounds.
