www.cdsc.ac.thCDSC offers educational programs beginning in the nursery and reaching to the German International Abitur (DIAP) at the end of Grade 12. The curriculum is structured according to the quality framework for German schools abroad. Report cards, as well as diplomas, are officially recognized by the Standing Conference of the Ministers of Education in Germany and are internationally compatible. The students can obtain the “Hauptschulabschluss” after Grade 9, the “Realschulabschluss” after Grade 10 and the German International Abitur (DIAP) at the end of Grade 12. The primary language of instruction at the CDSC is German. In addition, English is taught beginning in the Grade 1 and Thai beginning in Kindergarten. In Grade 6, students qualified for high school will begin to study French. In Grade 8, History courses are taught bilingually (English/German). In Grade 10, Physics is taught completely in English with tests administered in English in the German International Abitur examinations. Since April 2012 the CDSC has opened its doors to a small contingent of foreign-language students to enable them to enter the German school system. They can enroll at the Kindergarten level or at 9-12 years of age by taking part in the German Summer School, a three-month intensive course, enabling the students to reach a fluency in the German language that allows them to successfully take part in regular classes.
