AMG INTERNATIONAL
www.amgint.orgAMG International is in the business of making the world a better place with the use of hybrid-breed business solution strategy on the combination of commercial and social development and we believe that collaborative models and systemic approaches are the ways to achieve progress and bring positive impact to the vulnerable and secluded members of the society. Nigeria has over 200 million population with a growth rate of 3% and productive level 2.1%, with almost lowest DGP in Africa, annual budget hovering 7-8 trillion, that is less than $25 billion but selling 2 million crude oil daily in the international oil market. The country is 2nd position on maternal mortality in the world, 112 position on corruption index, over 16 million children out of school, bank and other financial institutions interest rate hovering 29-31% and inflation rate is currently 12.5%. The unemployment is at its peak of 18% for the last 15 years. This is hugely contributed by non-commitment to corruption reduction, weak budgetary process, weak procurement system and gender skewed political selection process in Nigeria. AMG has five streams of contributions to socio-economic development: • Strengthening governance systems at Federal, State and Local government levels on public finance management, procurement system. • Strengthen women and Girls’ political Empowerment for Socio-Economic leadership positions • Strengthen Health Care System among Federal, State and Local government levels through E-Health development and innovative financing for equity and impact • Improving economic livelihoods of vulnerable and secluded women and girls in selected communities of our operations. • Provide technical consultancy services to organizations and government on Research/evaluation, database/DHIS2 set-up/ management and service delivery quality improvements.
