Ekisande supports the community of Bwera (Uganda) through education & healthcare. It is our mission to help the people of Bwera create their own future. We have no overhead, every euro is invested in our project. Our local contact, Father Tom, is a bishop and has proven to be a great project leader on site. So far we have bought land and built a campus for the kindergarten & primary school. - Two-classroom building - Three-classroom building - Toilets for boys and girls - Healthcare center We also started a vocational training center for which we currently rent infrastructure. We provide courses with a focus on expertise needed in the Bwera community: - Car mechanic - Hair dresser - Welding - Wood work - Tailoring We will support this school for 5 more years, during this period we will: - Improve the health care center and add a ward - Provide electricity and water - Buy more land - Build a campus for the vocational training center - Add business oriented classes to stimulate entrepreneurship - Provide 700€ monthly support for staff wages and food for the children
