The International Banking Federation (IBFed) was formed in 2004 to represent the banking community at international level. Its members include the American Bankers Association, the Australian Banking Association, the Canadian Bankers Association, the European Banking Federation, the Japanese Bankers Association and the Banking Association South-Africa. The Chinase Banking Association, the Federation of Brazilian Banks and the Korea Federation of Banks are Associate Members.
