Our moulding plant accurately planes and moulds timber to various shapes and sizes, Our finger jointing machine significantly reduces wasted offcuts by turning them into usable timber products while at the same time, increasing production capacity. By removing defects such as knots and re-joining the timber through finger-jointing, we can produce products of a higher quality and strength. Our skilled laminating division uses our range of laminating machines with specialist glues to manufacture laminated beams and posts, shelving and countertops, balustrading and stair treads. Our long-serving manufacturing staff are well versed in the language of timber and check each piece of wood that has been trimmed, cut, planed, moulded, preserved and treated to ensure it meets the Somerset Timbers standard.
