The North East Hemp Association (NEHA) advocates for, educates, and leads the building of the hemp economy with professional integrity for the benefit of our members, the public, and the planet. Originally the New York Hemp Industries Association (NYHIA), a chapter of the oldest Hemp Association in the United States, NYHIA has reformed into the North East Hemp Association (NEHA) in 2021. NEHA looks to include and welcome all aspects of the hemp industries and speak for all aspects of the industry. While still an Affiliate Chapter of the HIA, we realize that there is an opportunity to represent and include more aspects of the hemp industries under one umbrella for a combined voice to represent, advocate for, educate, and lead the hemp industries into the future. NYHIA transitioning into NEHA means that with the combined strength of Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine, Rhone Island, Massachusetts, Connecticut, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania, our voice is larger, and we can accomplish more as a whole.
