Practical Stories' mission is to help organizations focused on enhancing social good achieve their goals, through a holistic research, data, and measurement practice. Core to our work is an analytical framework/foundation we call I.D.E.A. (Intersectionality, Diversity, Empathy, Alliance), which is designed to embrace the complexity of human identity, the diversity of people’s lived experiences, and explicitly account for biases engendered by cultural contexts and institutional structures. We deploy a full range of methodological and analytic tools, from meta-analyses of academic work, to original and proprietary research studies, to the design and deployment of first-party data and measurement practices, in service of providing our clients the most powerful tools possible to support their work.
