Interstate Security Services envisions filling these "people ambassador" positions through a careful screening process accomplished at the hiring level and reinforced with an expanded training program to include not only standard security procedures, but also extensive training on "people skills". Ongoing training will enhance self-development and ensure continuous improvement and continuity of service and image. During the late evening hours, security needs changes to the more typical physical property control scenario. During this period the hard military-like physical presence approach with highly visible uniformed officers would be appropriate.
