North Iowa FIRST, Inc. is an independent agricultural business that performs third-party, unbiased crop performance testing across the corn and soybean producing regions of northern Iowa. North Iowa FIRST is directly affiliated with the Farmers Independent Research of Seed Technologies organization, known commonly within the seed industry as FIRST. Our vision is to produce and relay credible and unbiased crop performance data that directly affects decisions farmers make on their own operations to increase crop yields and profitability. FIRST works closely with farmer members and seed companies representing a variety of genetic suppliers to publicly promote better hybrids and varieties that have been field-tested using scientific and replicated testing procedures.
