Man | Husband | Dad
www.manhusbanddad.comManHusbandDad™ is a vocation-based approach to right-living that answers the simple longing in one’s heart when they intrinsically, instinctively, know they are not doing what they should be doing in life. This dissonance is caused by not BEING who we are supposed to BE. And if we are in that situation, then we are incapable of DOING what we are supposed to DO – because we do not know what that is. This approach follows Natural Law. A Man’s Moral Clarity stems from his level of achievement toward his Natural Aptitudes, which are Mental, Physical, Emotional, and Spiritual. In each of these aptitudes fall Virtue – particularly the Twelve Righteous Virtues. The closer one is to his full Natural Aptitude, he more specific and clearer is his Moral Clarity and therefor an understanding of his Primary Natural Vocation. And from the recognition and application of the Primary Natural Vocation comes the revelation and discovery of WHAT he is supposed to DO to support that Natural primary Vocation. No two Men have the same exact sized Aptitudes – that’s part of what makes him unique in his being and therefore in his doing. So, comparing my use and pursuit of my Physical Aptitude to MY 100% is where I should focus, not on someone else’s 100%. It is that way with all of the Aptitudes and virtues. The measure of the Man is made against what is naturally perfect for him, not what is perfect for others (and not necessarily what he might low-ball and convince himself is his perfect!). Hence the meaning behind what Jesus says at the end of the Sermon on the Mount: “Be perfect as your Father in Heaven is perfect.” God fulfills all of his aptitudes to the level he can and puts them into practice by exercising complete virtue to the level that He can. We are called to BE perfect to whatever level our ability to exercise the Aptitudes and Virtues is, not to God’s, or other Men. Yes - I can speak at your conference or retreat or church mission about this! MHD is now a part of HOO.
