Established in December 31st of 2013, The Black Orchid Lounge started as an alternative to the sports-bar, and dive bar theme that broadly exist around the El Paso area. Our main focus is creating for our customers the enjoyment of a great cocktail by educating ourselves and our staff in the art of tending bar and mixology. We study and get certified in the history of spirits, their flavor profiles, physical characteristics and how they are made, in order to create some of the most delicious libations just for you. We host live Jazz weekends and various events such as Open-Mic and Trivia for everyone’s enjoyment. We are proud to be almost four years open for business; and to have gained local and national recognition by some of the most prestigious editorials such as: The El Paso City Magazine, El Paso Fusion magazine, El Paso Times, Texas Monthly magazine, & Saveur magazine from New York City, and some mentions and online recognition from some highly recognized mixologists and editors in the state of Texas and abroad.
