Port Studio is a design practice based in New Orleans, Louisiana. We design and make Architecture, Furniture, Millwork and Objects. Producing places and things implies that we are making the case for a vision of how we interpret our surroundings. We design pieces that couple specific materials with small-scale production, to instill durability and consideration throughout the process. This work is validated through its resonance with other people. Port Studio is an open practice and does not define itself by one mode. This fluidity is a defining quality of the projects we create. A place, furniture or object are all made to be in dialogue with people and that is what we are interested in.
