Downtown Poplar Bluff, Inc. works closely with the community to assist the City of Poplar Bluff and property owners in the promotion of downtown Poplar Bluff as an economic, historic and family friendly cultural center. The Gateway to the Ozarks, Poplar Bluff is an historic railroad and river-way community in southeast Missouri. The historic district of its downtown, adjacent to the Black River and three railroad tracks, contains the city's oldest surviving buildings and its original red, brick streets. Downtown revitalization is at the heart of the mission of Downtown Poplar Bluff, Inc.
