The mission of the Helping Hands Health and Wellness Center is to be the caring hands of Jesus to provide medical care, health education, counseling and social services to those with needs. Helping Hands Health and Wellness Center (HHHWC) is a non-profit organization in the Northland community of Columbus, Ohio. HHHWC is a free clinic that provides free medical care and social services to uninsured and underinsured adults whose income is below 400% of the federal poverty guidelines. HHHWC’s programming involves its Community Wellbeing Program, Free Care Program, and Women's Health Program. During the Community Wellbeing Program, we offer reduced-price TB skin tests and work or school physical exams every Tuesday from 10 AM to 12:30 PM. TB skin testing is available as walk-in only, but physical exams are available as walk-ins or as appointments in advance. To make a physical exam appointment, call 614-262-5094. We do not serve individuals under age 18. During our Free Care Program, we offer free physician care and free social services care. Our Free Care Program is every Thursday starting at 3:30 PM and walk-in only; we do not have scheduled appointments. Our services are offered on a “first come first served” basis. We accept patients until we reach our capacity. It is recommended that patients arrive when the doors first open. There is no cost to be seen during the Free Care Program. We do not serve individuals under age 18.
