GETRAG Ford Transmissions GmbH is a 50/50 joint venture between GETRAG and Ford Europe. The GETRAG group is a worldwide system supplier of transmissions system for passenger cars and light commercial vehicles with around 14,200 employees at 20 sites. Product range from manual transmissions to dual clutch transmissions through transmissions for hybrid and electric drives. On January 1st 2016, the GETRAG group was acquired by Magna International, on of the world’s largest automotive supplier.
