Chemical safety testing is changing to reflect societal and economic pressures to reform the laws governing hazard assessments – avoiding the significant costs and ethical concerns of animal testing. This maturing science is called new approach methodologies (NAMs). Our company provides services in NAMs, including chemical grouping, hazard prediction and benchmark dose modelling to determine the potencies of chemicals. Our approach combines molecular (omics) technologies - that measure thousands of molecular responses to chemical exposure - with computational approaches to analyse the data, so to derive information on chemical hazards. We also offer bespoke training in the use and interpretation of NAM data for safety assessments. Our training mission is to help ensure that people who risk assess chemicals are equipped with knowledge of these powerful new approaches.
