Legacy 2 Inspire mentors youth to reach their potential for a productive and fulfilled life. How we mentor is built upon three steps: 1) Connecting - through a mobile workshop, a connection is made by the shared experience of building together. 2) Building trust - trust is built overtime upon three foundations that are core to L2I; respect, empathy, reliability. 3) Mentoring - this is accomplished by providing wisdom and direction for youth to reach goals and live a fulfilled life. Our mentoring model walks through five steps; identify a goal, assess barriers, determine solutions, take action, and evaluate the action. Our mission is to meet teens and young adults where they are by operating a mobilized workshop platform and equipping passionate trades professionals to create unique shared experiences through workshop-based skills. Through this, we then bridge them to ongoing mentorship that removes cultural, socioeconomic, or discriminatory barriers so that they can find their passion and purpose in life.
