We are an open access fine art printmaking facility based in a former Victorian Church School adjacent to St. Paul’s Church in the centre of Mirfield, West Yorkshire. Mission West Yorkshire Print Workshop supports and promotes artistic talent and learning. With an emphasis through the art of making prints, using high quality traditional and contemporary techniques. Vision West Yorkshire Print Workshop will be synonymous with excellence in printmaking. Values At the core of our work we proved a service which is delivered: Professionally Knowledgeably With a commitment to investment in staff, equipment and technology With respect for people, their art and equipment Inspirationally through example Generously in time and the sharing of expertise Our aim is to support artists and creative businesses by providing open and accessible printmaking facilities, affordable studio spaces and exhibiting opportunities. There’s a regular programme of specialised printmaking courses, from beginners to the more experienced, as well as more general art and craft workshops. We have three main printing rooms in addition to a gallery space which is used to host a changing programme of printmaking exhibitions as well as special events. We also run a regular series of children’s art workshops. To keep informed about when they’re running, please sign up to the children’s workshop mailing list here. We are always happy to show individuals or groups around the premises, please contact us if you are interested seeing our facilities. Opening Hours Monday: 10:30am – 6pm Tuesday: 10:30am – 10pm Wednesday: 10:30am – 6pm Thursday: 10:30am – 6pm Friday: 10:30am – 6pm Saturday: 10:30am – 3pm Sunday: Gallery closed. Print facilities open to key holders only.
