As a non-profit organization, we are committed to sponsoring a nurse leader (registration fee, flight, and hotel) to attend a national nursing conference of his/her choice. The nurse leader will select whether he/she will attend the American College of Healthcare Executives (www.ache.org) or American Organization for Nursing Leadership (www.aonl.org) conference. Following conference attendance, the nurse leader will return to his/her hospital or clinic prepared to launch a process improvement, performance improvement, or evidence based practice initiative. The board of directors will serve as a resource for the nurse leader, if needed, for the duration of the project. At the conclusion, the nurse leader will be prepared to give a presentation, via zoom, to the board summarizing the project initiative, results, and findings. Candidate Qualifications Nurse leader (formal or informal title) with prior knowledge and experience of process/performance improvement; employed in a hospital or clinic setting; must have a supportive leadership team.
