Healthcare is becoming increasingly complex and unaffordable for large parts of the global community. New technologies can help us to overcome these challenges. However these new tools are often seen with suspicion or as a threat. These concerns have to be taken seriously. It is important that we consider ethical and social implications of artificial intelligence, robotics and virtual or augmented reality. By identifying these concerns early we can increase acceptance of these new, rapidly advancing technologies. We are using human intelligence to guide research and development in artificial intelligence and other technologies.
