Initially established in 1988 by Şaban Yılmaz as a lathe workshop, Yılmaz Torna started by serving as a spare parts and maintenance center for its customers. Throughout the years, as its technical and operational capabilities started to increase, investments were made to increase production capacity, which created a need for a larger staff and a larger machine park. As a result, in 2002, it moved to a 450 m2 closed area in Ikitelli Organized Industrial Zone, now serving its customers with the title Yılmaz Makina Imalat San. ve Tic. Ltd. Şti. In November 2021, in order to give its customers better and faster service, and to meet the needs of its ever-increasing machine production capacity, YILMAZ MAKINA moved to its new 3000 m2 location. In accordance with the confidence it has in sustainable development, YILMAZ MAKINA continues to invest in the industry’s technology through building and establishing an R&D and Assemblage Center on behalf of its subsidiary company YILPAK. Thanks to the expertise of its personnel in design, production, and assemblage, YILMAZ MAKINA aims at being the industry’s leader, as it continues to get positive feedback from both foreign and local customers; proving it be one of their most indispensable suppliers. Extending its customer portfolio even more by adding industry-leading national and international companies (see references) YILMAZ MAKINA, in accordance with its increasing business volume, has continued making investments in quality and occupational health/safety systems by attaining OHSAS 18001-2007, ISO 9001-2008, and (CE) EC Declaration of Conformity certificates. With the R&D it leads with the brand YIL-PAK for new models, it continues to manufacture both manual and fully automatic vertical filling machines, screened doser machines, conveyor systems, checkweighers, forming tubes, stretching machines, and bag collator machines.
