The idea behind the event is simple. Having been to quite some innovation events like TEDx, Smart City Expo or WebSummit, we had the idea of combining those concepts and create an event which offers both – exposure for innovative startups and inspiration for an interested audience, for zero visitor cost. Because the mission was to create an event that could benefit and stimulate local startups, this meant that every selected participant needed to receive something that could also skyrocket their branding and give them investor-worthy marketing materials. That’s why every single selected startup will also receive the opportunity to have their pitch recorded in a professional setting by Lightning Video Editors. With our idea in mind we came together and got to work. We talked with the local innovation community, who were completely convinced right away, and gave us additional ideas of how to make it even better. And now, we not only have the pitches on stage in front of an audience and a selected jury, but also an innovation fair and networking drinks with a free open bar afterward where all attendees can close off the event with some great conversations over a glass or two.
