SHAC is a social enterprise developing products and services for a sustainable, low-carbon, built environment. We develop innovative, open source, solar-powered, modular designs. We convene a network of people and small businesses who want to make positive change: builders, engineers, architects, designers, and product manufacturers. We run competitions – “challenges” to find good ideas and people with whom to work. We run community building projects to learn about new and old technologies and processes.
