Design Build Solutions, LLC is a social impact design-build firm specializing in affordable housing construction and rehabilitation, planning and creation of public spaces, and job training. Since 2014, DBS has worked in partnership with several communities and organizations in the Mississippi Delta to build equity through the built environment. DBS works collaboratively with underserved populations in Mississippi to develop safe, healthy, and dignified affordable housing and economic opportunity. DBS also invests in the local workforce by training apprentices for work in construction, with an emphasis on energy efficiency. Led by co-founders Richard Elliott (design-build lead) and Emily Roush-Elliott (social impact architect), DBS has a combined 20+ years of experience in community partnership, design, construction, and project administration.
