The New Politics Forum is initiative of the Annette Strauss Institute for Civic Life, an organized research unit at The Moody College of Communication at The University of Texas at Austin. Through nonpartisan research, education, and outreach, the Institute seeks to understand and overcome the barriers to civic engagement. New Politics Forum programs are strictly nonpartisan and work to engage people in the political process, teaching them about our nation's democratic heritage, and encouraging them to take leadership roles in their communities.
