The mission of the Surya Institute [for Sustainable Energy & Resource Solutions] is to develop, deploy and disseminate sustainable energy and resources solutions; and develop, support and foster leaders in sustainability. The Institute plans to achieve its mission by leading the development and ongoing support of a collective impact coalition that includes a broad range of regional, national and international partners and stakeholders. The Institute will focus on the following five key thrusts: 1. Experiential approaches toward capacity building 2. Market facing applied research and solutions 3.
