How we feel about ourselves, interact with others, and overcome obstacles in life makes an enormous difference in our ability to be happy and to succeed. We refer to this as social and emotional wellness, and 80% of educators believe that it is crucial for academic success. curaJOY is a 501(c)3 non-profit that leverages cutting-edge technologies and proven science to create root-cause solutions to improve families’ emotional wellness and behavioral healthcare equity. We partner with the brightest minds--psychologists, educators, parents, and kids--worldwide to develop scalable, inclusive programs that provide unlimited behavioral health and wellness support based on evidence-based practices to promote better family dynamics, personal growth, continued practice, and authentic connections in real life. Our main program, Quest Depot, is a multilingual digital behavioral health program for all ages that integrates various evidence-based methods, real-world projects and rewards with personalized behavioral support. Participants chat with virtual mentors who look like them, in their preferred language,with their choice of diverse-looking virtual mentors who converse naturally and proactively, understand and remember what users say, and deliver guidance and activities from content created by licensed professionals. We work with all members of the family to identify the functional needs behind challenging behaviors, improve problematic interactions and work towards achieving healthy family dynamics. curaJOY’s Quest Depot alleviates the current and forecasted continuing shortage of behavioral health professionals worldwide, and also serves as an accurate and accessible method of behavioral health data collection for remote providers to offer services effectively.
