State Commission for Regulation of Financial Services Markets of Ukraine is a central executive agency with a special status. Main tasks of the Commission as a whole and its departments within the terms of reference provided by law include: Implement unified and effective state policy regarding provision of financial services; Elaborate and implement market development strategies for financial services; Exercise the state regulation and supervision over provision of financial services and law compliance in the industry; Ensure consumer protection in the industry by enforcing law in order to prevent or stop violations at financial services markets; Introduce internationally-accepted market development rules for financial services; Facilitate integration into European and world markets of financial services
