ReCreate is a thriving social enterprise with a vision to inspire curiosity, creativity and care for the environment. We do this by working: - To Foster Creativity: To inspire creativity and curiosity through access to open-ended materials and training on their use - To inspire Champions of Reuse: To be the ‘Go To’ source for education on reuse and champion environmental sustainability - To support social inclusion: To provide effective workplace experience to local people distant from the labour market and a welcoming space for those with additional needs. ReCreate officially opened its doors in February 2014 and since then has scaled up significantly with the support of the very dedicated founding organisations, a large number of suppliers nationwide, key funders, supporters and staff. We are very proud of the fact that over the past 5 years ReCreate has had a direct impact on tens of thousands of people nationwide by giving them access to quality arts material and nurturing their inner creativity, which results in improved outcomes for children across the social spectrum.
