We are an organization set up to promote the entire health and wellbeing of the girl child and young woman in order to enable them to become all they can be. Our vision is to equip African girls between the ages of 5 and 19 years, to enable them take charge of their health through advocacy, training, education and mentorship. The vision of THAG Foundation aligns with the sustainable development goal (SDG) 5 which seeks to achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls. In line with this, THAG foundation organizes workshops, seminars and other interactive programmes where girls are equipped with knowledge that will enable them achieve their purpose. At THAG Foundation, we believe that it is important to “catch them young’. We also believe that any investment in the girl child will yield positive results in the society, as women are great influencers who can champion the cause of girls, women and their families. THAG Foundation leverages on the peer-led interventions and storytelling as part of their strategies in achieving their set goal. Our flagship programmes are : 1. Give the Girl A Voice Campaign 2. THAG LCE (Leadership, Character and Etiquette) Programme. 3. The Healthy Her Programme (Comprehensive Sexuality Education for School Girls). 4. THAG Peer Educator Programme on Adolescent Health
