The Adelaide West End Association inc (AWEA) represents the interests of the West End community in Adelaide South Australia. The AWEA Executive meets monthly and consists of volunteers from the business community in the West End. The Adelaide West End Association is a member based organisation, and works to build a vibrant community in our precinct We offer our members a vehicle for promoting their diverse business activities from live music performances, exhibitions, public seminars and consultancy services. We also provide a means of networking and ‘connecting the dots’ within the community and the city as a whole. The association advocates to state and local government on behalf of members on issues such as precinct presentation, safety and cleanliness, social inclusion, arts and community funding, planning matters and are an active voice on behalf of our community in shaping the future of our city. We were established in the 1980’s as a Traders association and our membership is representative of the diverse range of businesses and institutions that form the West End.
