Based at Ca' Foscari University of Venice, VeniSIA is an innovation and sustainability ecosystem devoted to develop/scale business ideas and technology solutions to face climate change and other environmental challenges associated with the UN Sustainable Development Goals. The project was conceived by Carlo Bagnoli, Full Professor of Strategy Innovation at the Department of Management of Ca' Foscari, who had the vision to identify Venice and its fragile, unique environment as the perfect setting to develop and test scalable solutions for the sustainability challenges of our time. VeniSIA's targets are companies (corporations and SMEs), startups, researchers, master's students, donors, and institutions interested in pursuing or supporting sustainability innovation projects.
