Lapointe Engineering Ltd. (LEL) is a multi-discipline engineering firm specializing in Project Management, Design Engineering, and Maintenance Engineering. Centrally located in Kitimat, British Columbia, LEL has provided practical engineering solutions to Northern British Columbia since 1980. In 1986, LEL was officially incorporated and has been experiencing steady growth, within a family oriented atmosphere, as a professional organization. Robin Lapointe, P.Eng., the founder and namesake of Lapointe Engineering, built the company from the ground up using the expertise of a key team of individuals that continue to have a vital role in the organization today. As the company expanded, Mr. Lapointe brought in two partners: Alex Ramos-Espinoza, P.Eng., and Mark Gravel, P.Eng. In a partnership role, Mr. Ramos-Espinoza and Mr. Gravel provide acute business sense, project management expertise and a vision for the future direction of the company. Despite the exponential growth experienced at LEL, the partners have been able to maintain the friendly, family atmosphere that was integral to the company since its inception over twenty years ago. Lapointe Engineering Ltd. has since evolved to become a major stakeholder in Northern British Columbia. Currently, LEL has approximately 40 employees.
